Operations & Finance Associate (w/m/d)

LiveVoice is a fast-growing Austrian start-up that turns smartphones and computers into a flexible audio system for live translation, silent stages, guided tours, and much more. Customers in over 100 countries use our platform — from small nonprofits to large enterprises, from churches to festivals.

In this role, you are the central operational support for Operations, Finance, HR, and Legal. You work closely with the leadership team, prepare decisions, keep processes running smoothly, make sure nothing gets stuck, and drive projects forward.

You don’t need to be an expert in every area — what matters is a structured working style, a sense of ownership, and the motivation to execute tasks cleanly, reliably, and with care.

Responsibilities:

• Support with monthly closing, accounting tasks, and financial forecasting
• Assist with recruiting, payroll processes, onboarding, and employee support
• Manage invoices, payment approvals, and dunning processes
• Prepare financial, HR, and operations data in a structured and analytical way
• Independently execute operations projects (e.g., preparing for ISO27001 implementation)
• Create concepts, process documentation, and structured workflows
• Handle general administrative and organizational tasks to support daily operations

• Initial experience in Finance, Operations, or Office Management
• A highly structured, precise, and reliable working style
• Enjoyment of administration, processes, and clean documentation
• Project management experience
• High willingness to learn and curiosity for operations topics
• Ownership mentality — you see what needs to be done and take action
• Ability to juggle multiple topics without losing the overview
• Excellent written communication skills in German and English

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting or payroll preparation
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment
• Basic understanding of contracts or compliance topics

• An attractive salary. According to Austrian equal pay regulations, we must state a minimum salary. For this position, the minimum is EUR 2,473 gross per month (40h). However, our actual salaries are based on market rates, your experience, and your impact — and are typically above this minimum.
