Subtitles Overlay: Greenscreen Page
PLUS feature
With this feature you are able to show original or translated subtiles as lower thirds on a large video wall or in a video stream.
Using a green screen page that you can configure according to your needs and a video mixing software like vmix you have all you need to get this done.
This is a PLUS feature that is only available upon request. To use it and receive pricing get in contact with us.

Example
Here is an example how the green screen page looks like.

Settings and parameters
You can make the settings changes either in the settings modal or directly in the URL. Updating the settings in the modal will also update the parameters in the URL. These are the settings you can make (like color, font size, spacing, etc.):

Setup
Step 1: Paste this link in the browser of the computer that will be captured by your video software
Copy this link: https://livevoice.io/en/streaming/subtitles?code=xxxxxx&language=en
Step 2: Insert Code in URL
The 6-digit code in the URL needs to be the speaker code of the channel you are using to speak into. Note that you have to enable the subtitles you want for that channel first to make it work.
Step 3: Define language(s) or transcription in URL
Replace the "en" in the URL with on of these options, depending what you need:
a) Language code: For example de for German, es for Spanish, and so on.
b) Original Subtitles: For original subtitles (Closed Captions) instead of the language code insert "transcript".
c) Cross Translation: If you have two languages spoken on stage and always want to show the opposite translated language on screen, insert "cross-", following the two language codes. For example: "cross-en-de”
Note: Until you have made all these settings, an error message will be shown on the subtitles page.
Step 4: Define settings according to your needs
When you have done all this and go live with the audio channel, the subtitles will be displayed.
When you open the page first, it is set with default settings (green background, black text box). Depending on what your video streaming program can do, you should pick the color you need for keying.
Advice: If you let the web browser with the overlay page run e.g. over night during your event and want to use it the next day, we recommend to refresh it once. As some browsers energy saving settings could prevent subtitles to be played out or send old subtitles that are still in the cue after "waking up", this will make save you get a clean start.
