We’re proud that LiveVoice has been chosen to represent Austria at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. As part of Austria’s contribution under the theme “Composing the Future,” we’ll be showing how our technology helps make global communication more inclusive and accessible. It’s a great opportunity to highlight how breaking down language barriers can bring people closer together.
But that’s not all…
LiveVoice isn’t just represented at Austria’s Pavilion—we’re also in action at the German Pavilion, providing AI-powered subtitles for 50+ talks. These subtitles will be projected on large screens, ensuring that conversations at the Expo are more open and accessible for international audiences – no audio needed!
But what is the World Expo actually—and why is it such a big deal for us to be represented there?
Since the first World Expo in 1851 in London, these global gatherings have been platforms where countries showcase innovation, culture, and future visions. From the Eiffel Tower in 1889 to the invention of touchscreens in 2010, World Expos have been the spaces in which ground breaking ideas were shared with larger, international audiences.
Although the digital age has sped up knowledge-sharing and erased geographical barriers to a considerable extent- we already have customers in around 80 countries across the world due to the WWW, the World Expo remains an iconic event, historically significant and with a high symbolic value.
By being selected to present LiveVoice to such a diverse, global audience, we are truly honoured to be part of driving the conversation forward and shaping what’s next.
