Apart from preparing the AI languages that you anticipate will be needed, you can also choose to provide AI languages on demand. In this way attendees can request languages that will then be added automatically or after your approval.

Frequently asked questions

If you start a new event we recommend to use the AI Quick Setup. It will guide you in a few steps to create your entire event. You can also start from scratch and configure it manually, or if you already have an event set up, add the AI Translation to any channel you want. You find a detailed how-to guide here in our Help Center.
AI translation is not included in your Account plan but billed separately pay-as-you-go. Costs depend on the time you are using it, just as you pay for a human interpreter by time. It is billed by minute. Minutes start counting as soon as you start AI and will end when you click stop again. Usually once a week you will get the invoice for all used minutes within that week.
AI is already impressive, but you will still get the best live translation from human interpreters. Also, the speed will be faster with human interpretation, because AI will need to wait until a sentence is finished until it can actually start translating.

We want to make sure you have the right expectations when using AI. Therefore we provide an overview about the differences between AI Translation vs. Human interpreters here.

With LiveVoice you can combine AI and human interpreters for the best of both worlds. For example, you can offer human interpretation for the main languages and provide additional languages effortlessly with AI Voice Translation. There is even the option to hand over between human interpreter and AI in the same language channel.
You can get AI translation as voice and as text (translated subtitles), or individually. By default, if you activate AI translation you will get both. If for some reason you want to show only one of them to your audience, you can decide to do so. Price for all options is the same, not matter what output you choose. We usually recommend to provide both voice and text translation as this is the best user experience and will not cost more than using just one.
