Checking the audio output

Making sure the audio stream is reaching your audience.

As an AV operator or interpreter you might want to check how the audio you are sending sounds and if everything works as expected.

There are different options how to do this.

Option 1: Listen on another device

Take a smartphone and enter the participants code. Click play on the channel you want to check.

Alternatively you can open the participants link on another computer.

Option 2: Listen on the same device

Of course you can listen to your own channel in the speaker interface. This might be the easiest way, because you don't need a second device.

However, please note that doing so is not recommended because it can lead to bad audio quality as you might create a loop and with turned on echo cancellation you might even degrade the overall sound. This is why there is a warning pop-up. If you really want to test sound this way make sure you do not listen to yourself permanently but only for quick testing.
